MOVE UP TO ACHIEVERS' LEVEL

Some years ago, I was privileged to exchange letters with Peter J. Daniel of Australia. In autographing one of his books to me, he wrote “Reach To The Sky.” Who was Peter J. Daniels? Perhaps his story will inspire you to move up to achievers’ level. Get excited today that you too can make it.

P.J. Daniels was described as an illiterate at age 26. In other words, this man did not know how to read or write at an age when many had graduated from the University. Some at that age have had more than the first degree. At this age he had worked as a bricklayer and as a factory hand. He was a third generation of welfare recipient. In other words, he was in a line of inheritors of joblessness and poverty. He was living on stipends offered to him by the state. What can an uneducated man do in the midst of the educated? Truly, he is an odd man. Let us interlude with a story of one man. Peter J. Daniel (PJD) was the product of a broken home, a man down and out intellectually and financially. Amazingly, within five years of self-set goal, he became self-educated, he became capable in reading, writing and speaking. He was a speaker in great demand with his highly enriched educated mind. He proceeded to be a very successful businessman and also an accomplished author of chart bursting books. All this happened by his determination and faith in God. Peter J. Daniel excelled. He moved up to achievers’ level. The story of the sub-continent of Australia cannot be complete in that Pacific Rim without the mention of Peter J. Daniel. The man literally moved up to achievers’ level. The beauty and joy of it is that you too can move up to the achievers' level. Move up to the achiever’s level and break records.

Our world is a world of competition. Move up to the achievers' level by cultivating the habit of excelling in school. This will trail you in life to bring you to honours, accurate and unusual breakthrough. Move up to achievers’ level by cultivating the habit to excel in academics. Excelling in academics is also the foundation of excelling in life. If Peter J. Daniel can move up to achievers' level, then you too can. What is more? With God all things are possible. Partner with God, with God you cannot fail, he has a way for you to excel.

Let us close the day's devotion with this short story. A young graduate of Architecture was looking for employment at a time when it was difficult to get a job in the profession. He made a phone call to an Architectural Firm and he was invited for a chat. After a brief interview he was offered a job at a competitive salary. To create space for him in the firm, two other Architects were made to leave the firm. What happened? This young Architect excelled while in school. Excelling brings favour in untold dimensions. Move up to achievers' level.
